Random Public Drawing

THE RANDOM PUBLIC DRAWING (LOTTERY)

If the number of students requesting enrollment exceeds the openings available, entrance will be determined by random public drawing (also known as a lottery) in accordance with Education Code §47605(d)(2). Once enrollment is reached, the remaining names will continue to be assigned numbers and will be placed on a “Waiting List” in order. If vacancies occur during the school year, the vacancies will be filled according to the order of the Waiting List.
 
Every family in the lottery will be notified of their Waiting List number. As spaces become available, parents will be notified by U.S. mail, phone call or email. Families will be given a deadline by which to accept the spot and pick up an enrollment packet.
 
The 2018-2019 Random Public Drawing will take place on February 22, 2018 at the school campus – 16514 Nordhoff Street, North Hills, CA 91343. By mid-March, all enrollment applicants will receive notification indicating their enrollment status.
