WHAT IS THE VCMS COLOR FUNDRACER FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN?
The Color FUNDracer fundraising campaign is a four-week student-led fundraiser (launching April 29th) culminating in a 30 minute student "race" at our Van Nuys Blvd site on May 30th, 2024
. Students can run or walk and volunteer parents and staff will be stationed along the race course at water stations and color splashing stations. The Color FUNDracer will be chip-timed again this year so students can check the number of laps they completed and the splits for each one! Each VCMS student will receive a race shirt and a bib to wear during the run.

Each VCMS student will receive a race shirt and a bib to wear during the run. Parents are encouraged to attend the race as spectators and volunteers. Click here for the parent volunteer sign up form. We need parents to help pass out race shirts, pin race bibs on students, manage the water stations during the race, splash students with color during the race, and donate water and post-race snack items.
WHAT DOES COLOR FUNDRACER FUNDRAISING SUPPORT?
The Color FUNDracer 2023-24 campaign aims to raise $22,000 to enhance campus security, fund educational field trips, and support 8th grade graduation activities at Valley Charter Middle School. These initiatives are vital for providing a safe and enriching educational environment and for celebrating significant student milestones. By achieving our fundraising goal, we will ensure that our students have access to the resources they need for a comprehensive and secure learning experience. Your support is crucial in helping us meet these objectives and invest in the future of our students.

Our school fundraising goal is $22,000 and 100% student fundraising participation at any level.

WHY COLOR?
Everything is more fun in color! VCMS students will be splashed with colored powder while they run. The powder is non-toxic. Every will receive a COLOR FUNDracer T-SHIRT to wear during the race!
